Frequently asked questions

01

Where does CleanSky operate?

We scope projects in Poland and Germany and assess other EU projects individually.

02

What information is required for an RFQ?

Send the asset type and location, inspection objective, known access or operating constraints, preferred timing and required output.

03

Which permissions may be required?

Requirements depend on the airspace, site and operating scenario. BVLOS operations are undertaken only with the required authorisation.

04

How is feasibility assessed?

We review the asset, environment, access, atmosphere where relevant, data objective and operational risk before confirming a method.

05

Is personnel entry required for the remote confined-space phase?

The remote visual phase is designed to keep personnel outside the inspected space, subject to project qualification and site procedures.

06

Does ASIO X require GNSS?

No. It is intended for internal, GNSS-denied environments; range and link quality still depend on asset geometry and interference.

07

Can ASIO X operate in every atmosphere?

No. Atmosphere, process condition, access and emergency arrangements must be assessed before work.

08

Can drone inspection replace NDT?

No. Drone evidence may guide follow-up work but does not replace qualification-dependent contact NDT or specialist assessment.

09

What affects PV thermography?

Environmental conditions, irradiance, wind, module condition and electrical loading can affect thermal capture and interpretation.

10

What is the difference between inspection-linked 3D and survey-grade measurement?

Inspection-linked models provide spatial context and finding location. Survey-grade or cadastral accuracy is outside scope unless a separately qualified method and responsible specialist are agreed.
